Clear Learning website redesign
Having experienced significant growth in recent years, Clear Learning approached 400 to create an individual and recognisable brand on the web. As an online based training company with a desire to expand their services in the future, their website needed to be scaleable as well as visually interesting and easy to navigate.
Using their core values as a starting point, 400 proposed several different creative options for the application of their brand to the site. Steering clear of overused people and lifestyle imagery, our ideas ranged from illustrative and strong graphic options to bespoke photographic solutions. Choosing a detail theme, 400 commissioned macro photography of objects to link to keywords describing their attitude and ethos. As an additional benefit, these images could also be used offline for any promotional materials such as course brochures and postcards. Finally, the company logo was updated with a new typeface to give a fresher look and feel.
A simple but effective grid structure was used on the site to ensure a coherent flow as the user clicks through and maximize the impact of the photography. With a full web optimisation programme, CMS management for courses and member's area, and the ability to track user activity in selected areas, Clear Learning have the attention to detail needed to grow even further.
