Eating Disorders Conference

SLaM (The South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust) briefed 400 to brand their annual conference on eating disorders held in conjunction with Beat (Beating Eating Disorders). The aim of the event was to promote recovery from a carer's perspective through a series of talks from leading industry professionals.

The challenge was to highlight the importance of togetherness in recovery, whilst avoiding any clinical or medical connotations that would suggest medication or illness. The conference focused on carers and how vital their feedback is in recovery, so our solution needed to reflect the themes of unity and positive outcome.

The colourful, linking nature of the mark we developed represents a group of individuals coming together to create a unified voice in the shape of a speech bubble. This icon was then applied to posters, invites, name badges, presentation slides and other conference materials.
