Remote. Working.

To all our clients, collaborators and friends, we hope you’re keeping safe.

In light of recent developments relating to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and government recommendations, last week 400 successfully completed its very first full-agency remote working week. Fortunately, we’ve all already spent time working remotely and have the technology infrastructure in place to work effectively, with the same hardware and software at home as in the studio so it went extremely smoothly, and we had a really productive and busy week.

Microsoft Teams has been working faultlessly and probably the trickiest part of the first week was deciding how early in the day it’s acceptable to have lunch. We start each day with an email health check-in and end with a summary of what everyone’s working on, plus photos of views, children and pets. Regular full-agency video meetings make sure everyone’s in the loop and our collaborative values are maintained while we’re apart.

So, what are we busy with?

We’re working closely with the British Business Bank, helping them with a range of materials to raise awareness about the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme that will encourage and enable SMEs to seek finance. The first communications are due to be issued this week.

We’ve also been working with the World Health Organisation on a number of different projects including a Global Anti-microbial Resistance Surveillance System report and a new HIV Strategic Information Guidelines.

At a time when global economy and trade have been significantly impacted, we’re also continuing to work closely with the World Trade Organisation, and this week will be continuing the creative development of their 2020 Annual Report.

Alongside our usual work with Alantra, we’re also creating regular commentary collateral following conversations their UK Debt Capital Markets team has been having around the escalation of the COVID-19 crisis.

Despite the current situation, we’re continuing with our everyday business and are in regular contact with clients and collaborators through catch up calls, video meetings, online chat and the endless ways in which it is now possible to communicate!

If you have projects you’d like to discuss, please don’t not hesitate to get in touch.
